Through the partnership between Autograph and Penske Entertainment, Web3 will be able to leverage Team Penske and its owned entities in the fast-paced world of professional racing. Tom Brady founded the company and pioneered a new era of digital experiences.
The partnership brings together three prominent racing brands: the North American premiere open-wheel racing series, the NTT INDYCAR; the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which is also known as “The Racing Capital of the World”; and the Indianapolis 500, which is the world’s largest single-day sports event. One of the most successful organizations in the history of professional racing, Team Penske has won over 600 races. This multiyear agreement will feature the debut of NFT collections, which will be released in conjunction with the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500, which will be held on May 29 on NBC.
Unique and multiyear partnership
The Indianapolis 500 will serve as the launch point for Web3’s expansive offering, which will feature a variety of utility-rich features and offerings from both Team Penske and its various properties. Through its extensive historical archives, it will also be able to connect fans with the drivers and racing cars that are featured at the event.
The initial drops will be unveiled in the coming weeks. Dillon Rosenblatt, the company’s CEO, said that Autograph is honored to partner with all of Team Penske’s brands to honor the organization’s legacy.
New NFT marketplace
The launch of the NFT collections, which will coincide with the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500, is a privilege for both the company and Team Penske. It is also a significant step in the organization’s strategy to grow its engagement with its fans. Jonathan Gibson, the company’s executive vice president, said that the partnership will allow them to capitalize on the latest technology and sports trends.
He added that the partnership will allow Web3 to give its fans an opportunity to connect with the sport through unique experiences. The month of May and the Indianapolis 500 are the ideal launching points for this partnership. Nothing brings racing fans together like these two events.
